Lumina Analytics at the CXO Tech Forum
Dr. Morten Middelfart, Co-founder and Chief Data Scientist at Lumina Analytics took the stage at the CXO Tech Forum last month to discuss the direction and use of next generation technology like artificial intelligence and machine learning, as it pertains to National Security.
“The intent with AI in our opinion is that we want to try to uncover threats as detailed as possible but also have the human being at the end of that string of [data] to make the last call…The human being is very good as making a judgment based on on very few data points, where as AI is typically extremely good if it gets…hundreds of thousands of data points. At the end of the day, once we uncover the threat we want the human being to make an assessment…”
At Lumina, we recognize that by linking technology with human analysts, we position ourselves to preemptively identify and prevent threats from materializing. By extending protection far beyond traditional security perimeters, Lumina empowers organizations to detect threats before attackers ever have the chance to reach their targets.
